About UJUMP

UJUMP is a 501(c)3 non-profit junior mentoring and entrepreneurial program started by Lynbert “Cheese” Johnson in August 2020. We focus on 4th–7th grade students, both boys and girls in the WIchita, KS and Andover, KS school districts. UJUMP is a unique concept concentrating on “average” students, those who get passing grades but are at risk of being overlooked. Students are selected for the program by school principals, with feedback provided by their teachers. UJUMP is supported by community sponsors, which allows student participation at no cost to the school districts, schools or families.

Mission Statement
UJUMP was founded on the promise to develop social skills, behavior, academic achievement, self-esteem, and self-advocacy in youth; achieving these through a variety of empowerment opportunities and professional interactions.
